About fixed player settings

Hi there. I've been browsing the forums about answers to this. My problem is that I want all the options on the pre-game room to be greyed out (race, color etc.) and I found that everyone says to check the "fixed player settings" box under force settings. But the thing is, I checked the box, but it still doesn't work when I check out the map in single player mode =( so any ideas? ^_^ any help would be appreciated

fixed player settings grays out all the races, you can't grey out the colours.

also make sure that in player properties that no players are set to use race "selectable", because that overrides fixed player settings.
