I have heard several others with this problem but no solutions.


I have windows xp and when i try and load it i get access denied please log in with administrator privileges and try again. I am the admin and only account on the comp. Has anyone else had this problem? know a solution? i have played a hacked version of it and it worked fine and then after i delete all that stuff and installed the legit version it did this. Something about the crack bypassed the problem witht he hacked version but u i will not crack the legit version. plz help
 
might wanna try to uninstall the game and go into the registry and delete every refference to bf1942 and then install the game and patch it .
 
I did that but still di not work. i dont know why its affecting mine when some comps with xp have no troubles. PLZ SOMEONE HELP ME!

Check the folder and make sure the files are not marked Read Only (Right click and go to Properties)
 
.......lol i am not knew to this sort of thing....thnx for the suggestion but no gone through all the simple stuff and it's just not working.....no one else seems to know why....anyone here??? i still have faith in the gaming genious here...
 
i assume that all other games run just perfect .
that fixed exe was trojan/viri free right ? I am asking this cause i lost all faith in having 1 virus scanner on a computer . 1 is not enuff to trust that it will tackle all viri and trojans.
 
I know i do not have any sort of virus or trojan. I keep it clean with several different scanners software and online. I have read of others with this problem but no fixes..very small amount only like 2 other people.
 
Contacted and bs reply along with dumbass instructions which dont help me out what so ever........very frustratin....
 
i got the same problem and i dont know how to fix it if u find out how to fix please post
 
I get the same problem with all of the EA games that I actually bought. It figures that the one I got cracked is the only one that works. I also have this problem when I try to go to windows update. I havent been able to figure it out, as I had the only account, but I tried creating a new administrator account and it did the same thing.

    It's an unnecessarily long and just not that good of a cord. Falls out of the little clip I put it in.

    And yeah I was working. It was a suprisingly good weekend, I didn't run out of anything until today and had most of resolved. I think the only thing I didn't have some solution for was halibut, but in my defense I got 45 pounds or something last Thursday. It took me like an hour and a half at the end of the night.

    Today I had to scramble, I didn't work most of dinner service and no one told me shit. They had a rough few hours lol

    I have two salmon, Sockeye and Atlantic. Atlantic is used for the kids salmon and the salmon and beet salad, and can also be added onto any dish or just as a side. Atlantic salmon will almost exclusively ever be FARMED, as it is endangered in the wild, and we ALWAYS cut them to 4 ounces.

    SOCKEYE salmon, very different and this IS wild caught. We have an ENTREE version, and an add on version. The entree is 7 ounces, the add on is 4. Why? Because that is how someone that wasn't me set up the computer.

    Let alone trying to figure it out from a wildly stressed out me that is also on a phone call trying to get something to show up from Seattle tomorrow while trying to explain this salmon situation, that also is barely solved in maybe a few hours and and but I am bulking it with a few steelhead filets I have and that is a WHOLE fucking different thing to the 19 year old server that got put on day shift C crew that doesn't know who I am.

    All in all though I think this summer is going really well. Some complicated things, but at the end of the day it isn't THAT big of a deal. Not all of our servers have quite realized they are technically sales

    Like yeah it is a substitute, but FOMO. Chef isn't getting this again this year, he has to figure it out, so it's slightly off on the menu, but that is more or less the LOWEST quality and price. Right now, steelhead is a real stealhear, right?

And then the girls can bat their eyes and do pretty girl server shit
