Nope. It's been said that you can only get the level on your own hero/units.

(Of course, that would be fine for buffs, but that clearly isn't a buff.)

because mine has a function where you must set the hero through a function.

There are 6 submissions so far. Isn't it gonna be hard. I mean recording 30 battles and then uploading them to a video site will take some time.?

7*30 = 210 = 3 hours and an half.

If they're 2 to compile... 1 hour and a quarter.

Well I think there will be 1 or 2 more submissions because there is 1 or 2 days left. And they will not come battle-ready. There is a WE phase for them.

I can reveal that only a very few of the test battles lasted more than 5 minutes...

Though, I only tested warden13's and Exile's AIs approximately 3-4 times to adjust the duel arena code.


Anyway, around 22 hours still to go.

So is the latest version of the arena the one on the first post still? Just wondering if any meaningful changes happened, I suppose.

The code adjusted does not bring any changes to the players, I just added better functionality to set up the AIs.


Anyway, if we get only one more submission then it would be nice to leave the current dueling format and introduce a championship mode:

(4 AIs in group A, 4 in group B)

2 groups - 2 AIs with the most wins in their group advance to the semis - winner of semis to to finals - finals.


Just a thought, because that kind of format would be more fun.

i had started an AI too but with my little time i wasnt able to finish it. (ashamed)
it does search for an enemy and attack it as well as learn and use skills but does not react on enemys spells. i dont think its going to defeat anybody thats why i wont submit it. sorry mate.

Listen to my suggestion:

Have AI contest every 2 weeks or 1 month.
This is the first one. There will be the champion.
The next AI contests, more AIs can come to challange each other, and the champion.
When champion is defeated, the victor will be the new champion.

Each 2 weeks or 1 month, the champion gets rep or something.

I think it would really boost the desire to make AIs ^^ Because we need a lot of them.


Also, other types of AI contests...

For example, sieging a fortress, whoever kills the main structure faster, is the champion.
There defending structures and units and friendly units too.

Or another, defending a fortress vs stronger and stronger waves. Whoever survives the longer, wins.
