An ability that can target trees only?

Hey, anyone who can think of an ability that is able to target a tree only, without AOE?

No, not sentinel, anyone else?

Whenever I try the abilities, and set them to targets allowed they all give me one error "Must target a tree"... sad? Yes, a bit.
I've tried storm bolt, channel, banish, chaing lightning.

Of course I forgot to tell that the tree should be still standing after an "attack by this ability". Even though I can regrow it, but no, will look too stupid. Then I'd rather just use sentinel, and have a unit target the tree so the sentinel is removed

well, maybe you can use normal attack if you dont need it your map for something else. So if it's about island of frogs it may not work

You could always customize the Storm Bolt ability, just make it only targetable on Trees and remove the missile art if you want to.

Whoops - skipped that bit.

Edit: Ive got it! (i hope.)

Abilities - Harvest [Ghouls] - it only takes wood but not gold. Put the damage to 0 and lumber capacity to 0. Turn it into a hero ability if you want. That might work

I know now!!! SENTINEL!! its the ability you'll need

Harvest Ghouls lumber cannot have cooldown, it cannot cost mana and its "right click" thing, is ...well, that ability does not work.
All I need is an ability that is able to have cooldown, mana cost, without the rightclick-thing, able to have worldwide range and able to target trees only.

Even though I might end up with sentinel, would have been "finished" with it by now, instead of testing out all other abilities, with just removing the sentinel when it reaches the tree by attacking the tree via trigger...sad...

No.

Because of the owl that will be placed in the tree, and when it is there, you need a unit to damage the tree, to get rid of the owl. Or else you cannot use the ability on the same tree again. See? I mean, all I wanted was a quick answer, like "blablabla-ability-is-just-what-you-need", thats why this thread. But, after an hour of testing stupid abilities, yes, it would be 10 times faster just to use sentinel
