Hello. I've a little dillema with my comp. Just to start off, I have a prostar notebook 2253. I have 30GB, 256MB, 64MB video, 1GHz, XP (This is most likely the cause)
Here's the problem. I am currently working on writing a novel, often compose email, and frequently roleplay on UBB. When I attempt to enter text into a diologue box, my cursors position will, at times, randomly jump to a spot preceding the point I am at, often on the line above it, if I fail to notice it immediately, my text will continue to be placed in the point at which my cursor is. After it has occurred once and I have fixed the errors in my text it has caused, it will continue to jump to the same spot as previously. Now at first this does not seem a bother, but it has been occuring for approximately 3 months and has grown rather annoying. If you've any solutions to suggest, please do so.
...Oh my God. This may just be a hypothesis, so post anything you are thinking, but I think my palm may be occassionally grazing the static touch pad mouse... I MAY be a complete idiot.
