Model Ancient Hero

This is a Model I have been working on for the WC3Champaign Hero-Artist Competition... But I couldn't release it, since our team didn't make it in time =(
Anyways, I present you...
The Ancient Hero

It has the Furborg Animations. Added a dissipate animation, so it's usable as a Hero. Also added kewl ribbons ^_^
As usual, it's optional if you want to give credits to me or not. Just don't claim that it's yours
I wish for comments and stuff
The Path of the Texture is: 'AncientHero.blp' (Without the '')​

Well, it looks nice to me from this angle shot. But may be a little harder to see in-game because of the colour and stuff (brown all around, probably harder to distinguish from in-game background)? So I agree with the in-game shots .

It's wc3campaigns . The portrait looks a little messed up I think, or maybe I just don't like his face? You could try getting a better angle for the portrait.

Screenshots arn't all.
Download the Model, and try it out in-game. Then you won't have any "wrong" impression.

Seems like you've lost your inspiration when you were 70% done or so.

And the unwrap really sucks.

the head is okay, but the body looks weird. not nice. he looks like he would die if you touched him and thats not what ANCIENT heroes should look like.

The Picture Above is also a bit older If you look closly on the In-Game Pics, you'll see that he's got a MUCH better unwrap... And he's not a skinny as you might think

Where should the emitters go and what should go there (Meaning, would you like to see a green glow or something)?

Like the entagling roots green sparklies. Or something coming from his hands or eyes.

I tried out some Particles... And it looks like shit.
So, i will not be updating this Model anytime soon... IF someone comes up with a better Idea / Better Skin, blah.
Anyways... Whats with the approval?

What's the path for the texture?

If the texture isn't in any sub directory, the path is just the name of the texture. This applies to most models. And you can always try to open the model in War3 Model Editor.
