Announcing unit spawn via game chat

Hello,

I've stumbled upon this code here on TheHelper and it works great, however I don't know how can I announce the spawned unit's location in such manner.

''Prime Ghoul has spawned on the left (region1) , help your allies'' or ''Prime Ghoul has spawned on the middle (region2) , help your allies'' or ''Prime Ghoul has spawned on the right (region3) , help your allies''

The code I'm using is this

Prime Ghoul has spawned on the left, help your allies

Trigger:
  • Random Region
    • Events
      • Map initialization
    • Conditions
    • Actions
      • Set Region[1] = Region 1 <gen>
      • Set Region[2] = Region 2 <gen>
      • Set Region[3] = Region 3 <gen>

Trigger:
  • Create Unit Random Region
    • Events
      • Time - Elapsed game time is 20.00 seconds
    • Conditions
    • Actions
      • Set TempPoint = (Center of Region[(Random integer number between 1 and 3)])
      • Unit - Create 1 Footman for Player 1 (Red) at TempPoint facing Default building facing degrees
      • Custom script: call RemoveLocation(udg_TempPoint)

You can use a string array
LocationName

which you initialize together with your regions as
LocationName[1] = "left"
etc.

Then you use an integer variable for the random number:

spawnRegion = Random Number...
TempPoint = Center of Region[spawnRegion]
...
Display Text : ... "needs help at the " + LocationName[spawnRegion]

hope that helps

Excellent, works as intended. Thanks for your help and sorry for the late reply.

    More serious doesn't necessarily mean it's more interesting. :(

    I find that news.google.com has lots of interesting science stuff going on and the Space X stuff with Starship is super cool too
  • The Helper The Helper:
    plus the boring company and physics stuff happening now but I am more into the science now but there is still some crazy news I see out there using Reddit as a news source though and aggregate services like news.google and stuff and put AP in there I always read the news and yes sometimes it is not as interesting as others

    At some point I am going to look at Xenforo and see if it integrates with Hubspot at all. Would love to look at forum under a full marketing account in Hubspot since I have access to that stuff with my current gig

    Kind of surprised it wouldn't have its own forum product offering.

    That said, when Blizzard switched forum software, they went with Discourse, not xenForo.

    I think news.google shows you personalized news

    A friend of mine has a channel where he uploads some of the crazy machines he has built. Like when he plugged an electric motor into a 3d printed gearbox, attached it to his bycicle and then drove 50mph with it.
  • The Helper The Helper:
    You should post a link to his channel in General Discussion I would definitely check it out
