Annoying Different Pop-Up

ok... i don't know if i downloaded something and this annoying pop-up keeps coming up, or if it's just because i'm connected through cable, i dunno, but i keep getting this message that has the title "messanger service" at the top, and it is primary and sits above all other programs and even minimizes me right in the middle of a game for me to see
here's what it says...

Then a lot more blah blah blah like this for another 4-6 paragraphs that i don't want to type out.

I need to know how to get rid of this, because it pop's up when I don't even have any other program running (ie. internet explorer, bf1942... etc.)

I haven't even visited a friggen wieght loss site... wtf?
 
That is spam affecting Windows 2000/XP, thanks to the messenger service. It's purpose is to allow network administrators to send instant messages across the network, but some people are exploiting it for sending spam over the internet.

Go in the Start Menu, Run. Type services.msc and find "Messenger". Right-click it and select stop. Then, right-click it again and click on properties. Select "Disable" from the drop-down menu. No more spam.

    Wow - the change in the stats are major. I kind of knew it was all bots but wow, to see the effect. Why the social media sites cant do something like this I have no idea.

    Probably inflates their numbers so they look better to advertisers.

    Yeah google does not filter those bots. I remember when Apex was doing Google ads I saw the same IPs in there as I was seeing here - google is totally tracking all those bots as traffic and most google traffic, at least ours, was all bots

    The first gate is stopping all the bots that don't execute javascript.

    That's the main thing with Anubis - no Javascript, no site. Typically you can still get the site to load without Javascript.

    Real users can't really disable Javascript anymore these days.
