Anything? Becuase i think i have an addiction to swearing. I am serious when i say this. I swear like its a second language and im fluent. When i talk LITERALLY every other word is fuck. It's worse than anyone i know and i dont even THINK about it. I never put a thought into it unless i know i need to hold back like at work (even though my boss swears almost as much as me i never do at work). I can control it when typing becasue i got used to that at another forum, but when talking i think i am addicted to swearing. that other post got me thinking about it. when writing and typing and i can whip out pro stuff like essays or cool posts. but when talking my vocabulary drops to 4 letter words only. i got a problem.

I don't think you should consider swearing an addiction. Maybe think of it as an effect. The cause being a small vocabulary. Take a look through a thesaurus and your vocabulary will expand without you even knowing it.

Addiction: Something you can't go without. Smokers go through withdrawal. sometime it causes harm to the body from stopping. You get the urge "Oh just one last one" hence swearing can't be an addiction (In most cases).

I like to think I have an addiction to learning. All sorts of things. Not facts, like the average height of a 50 year old sequoia. Mostly mathematics, business, some creative things like writing/vocabulary, and practical things like how to make different items by hand, where to find cheap/good materials for those creations.

But you probably won't think of that as much of an addiction so I'll say the computer.

Anyway, using swear words every now and again in appropriate situations is ok, but liberally using it every other word is pretty pathetic. I see little kids doing it on the street and I am usually very tempted to smack them straight.

Bah, I cant seem to quit smokes. I try so hard. I quit for like 2 weeks, even with like double patches I wanted to kill everyone I know.

Its so hard. I woulda never ever started had I known this. I wish I didn't smoke every DAY, but fail quitting every time. None of the 'cool' kids in high school EVER told me about how much it sucks later in life. Its horrible. Don't smoke.

Yeah I did do the wellibutrin thing about a year ago, I was instructed 2 a day and wean myself off the smokes

But I never did the weaning part, I just popped 2 and 2 beers and sat back.

The last time I tried the patch, but I also really wanted to quit at the time, and I was feeling good about life, so it was easier. I did quit for a good while. Patch gives you crazy crazy dreams every night

I am also addicted to ^^, /\ /\ and ~~. And that is not a lie, i cant stop using ^^. But i can live with it, hopfully it wont take my life.

SD here is a tips that helped a friend of mine:
Put some money on it, as much as you can afford. Say to someone that you know can beat the crap out of you if you dont pay. Then you have only 3 choises
1) stop smoking
2) pay the money
3) get you *** kicked and pay the money

A riscy method but if you are desperate...
