Attachment points

I'm probably going to sound like an idiot, but does anybody know where I can get a list of possible attachment points as well as how I can mix art from two effects onto multiple attachment points without secluding each art? I've been looking around the site and through the forums for a little bit, and probably due to my incompetence, I couldn't find them.

You could browse through the Object Editor and write them down as you see them...

Here's a list of attachment points:

Overhead
Head
Chest
Origin - Below the unit's body
Hand (left, right)
Foot
Weapon
Sprite (first, second, third, etc etc)


Those are most of the attachment points, hope I helped.

You can create special effects using SPECIAL EFFECT - CREATE SPECIAL EFFECT AT POINT
and SPECIAL EFFECT - CREATE SPECIAL EFFECT ON UNIT.
If you create it on a unit, you have to specify where on the unit (attachment point). This is a list of the available places:

overhead (floats over the unit's head, but doesn't sway with the head as it animates)
head (sways with the unit's animation)
chest
origin (usually at the base of a unit's feet)
hand
foot
weapon (usually for heroes)
sprite (usually for buildings)
medium (usually for buildings)
large (usually for buildings)

There are also attachment point modifiers. Combine them with the attachment points to get the desired attachment, ie: LEFT FOOT and SECOND SPRITE.

mount (for mounted units)
rear (for quadrupeds)
first (for buildings)
second (for buildings)
third (for buildings)
fourth (for buildings)
fifth (for buildings)
sixth (for buildings)
rallypoint (for buildings)

NOTE: attachment points are configured into the models themselves, and not all models have all these points.

Now I have a question, I wanna know what kind of a model to use to get rid of the currently held weapon or to replace it with a cooler weapon, like in orc gladiators, and everquest. Another question from a stupid newb.
