Attack speed on units or towers

I'm making a tower defense and of course some of the towers need slow attack speed and very fast... how do i do that I went to Combat Attack 1- Projectile Speed and set it to 3500, when i get in the game to test, its not the towers speed, its just how fast the missles launch at the units. Plz Help!

There's the time to wait between shots or hits:
Combat - Attack x - Cooldown Time

Then there's the time to actually hit or shoot:
Combat - Attack x - Animation Backswing Point
Combat - Attack x - Animation Damage Point


The smaller these numbers are, the faster the hitting / shooting.

You should try to keep the animation times however,
units attacking really fast might look a bit weird...
