Aura Special Effect

Has anobody played Angel of DeathX RPG?? If you have, There is a set, when you put it on, you get the charm effect swirling around you all the time like an aura, when you have the items on, the charm effect is swirling around you and taking damage on nearby unit, anybody know how to do like that? make the charm effect, or other effect, swirl around you always, until you take that item(s) off...

You would probably need to do this with JASS, because you would need local variables to do it.

If the map isn't protected, why don't you look at it and see what they do.

why couldnt you just make a passive ability that has that effect and put the ability on the item?

Because it's the charm ability, it shows 2 seconds then gone, and it doesn't loop..

but I just want to know, when the hero get xxx close to a/some enemies i want it to do charm ability on them all... but it should damage them etc... i want to do that with charm or death coil effect

cant u make a event every .01 seconds or somthing

unit has the 3 items

create special affect on carrying unit

Will that make it attack nearby units...?

oh didnt know u still needed that part and no it will not but u can do pick all unit withing 260 on (unit with item) and make a loops to constintley attck

that's true, but I'm gonna wait with this RPG, I never made a map before, so i'm gonna wait with that as my first, im gonna do a kind of Angel Arena instead... anybody have any idea's???

the range part is a problem. i dont think you can attach a variable to the range function. Wish blizzard had thought that one through. Anyway, an item can have mulitple abilties...it doesnt have to be just one. Have one ablitity do the effect, or whatever, and have the other one do the damage. Don't know which one, but somebody should be able to answer that one. Lightining shield sounds good, but I could be wrong.
