Automadicly downloading to Temp Folder

Hmm, few days ago whenever I clicked on something to download. It started downloading automadicly just to the Temporary Folder, and when it was complete it opened the file I have just downloaded.

No im not clicking Open, and don't tell me to click Save As, its automadicly starting the download, saving it to the Temp Folder, then openeing when it has completed.

I didn't change anything, when this started happening. I didn't install anything, or anything like that. It just started doing that for some odd reason.

So anyone have a solution?

Well, I see what it used to do but I think you forgot to post what it is doing now. Also, you forgot to mention which browser you are using though i think from what you described it might be Firefox? More info please.

Not sure what you mean by that but ill take a guess at it.

Before i had the option, Open, Save As, Cancel before it started download.
Open, as saving it to the Temp Folder, and openeing it when its finished.
Save As, saving it to a destination, and not opening it when its finished.
Close, cancels the download.

Now it seems to be stuck on Open, as soon as I click on the link to download the file, it chooses "open".

Also, you forgot to mention which browser you are using

Local Intranet->Default Level
Trusted Sites->Default Level
Restricted Sites->Default Level
(tab)Privacy->Medium & Default
(tab)Advanced->Restore Defaults
Apply, OK, Close, Open

also, Tools->Manage Add-ons... check for anything weird...

don't have to mention scanning for spyware, adware, viruses, checking processes, etc..

No that doesn't work.

But thanks to TehShiz, who found the problem.

Solution-

Control Panal>Folder Options>File Types

Find the filetype your having problems with.

Delete it.

Now right click on the filetype you just deleted, and click open with. Select the program.

Example: A zip file you would open with, WinRAR or your program you use for zip files etc.

Thats it.
