Avatars - Profile Pictures - and Attachment limits.

Custom Avatars can be up to 100x100 pixels. Avatar max size is 50k - same with profile pictures. Maximum size of a file attachment is 400k which might be adjusted downward depending on bandwidth useage.

Is that all pictures in all or the individual ones? Is there a limit of how much size all of them together can be? In a little bit, I was going to attach a pretty good amount of them of screenshots of my map. Is it ok if we double post if we go over the maximum amount?

The limit is set per file attached. I reserve the right to delete them if they become a bandwidth problem.

That's fine, I could always just put them on photobucket instead of uploading them directly. DOn't hesitate, but if you do delete the pictures in my thread 'WIP and finished screenshots' would you mind telling me so I could grab those pictures first and upload them on another site like www.photobucket.com?

Its not screenshots of maps and works in progress thats the problem. Were developing maps of course.

Its the bullshit images that are 190k showing someone where a register button is, twice in one thread. Its that mass picture you posted on my DVD help thread, where I am trying to get comments or help on DVD ripping, NOT what you attached.

You can post those screenshots conan and I will probably not delete them and if I do I promise to save them for you. The only reason I would delete them is if they became a bandwidth problem but I have the forum attachment feature turned on for a reason. I am not singling out you on this - I will treat all big multiple attachment situations the same.

Yea I know. I don't care if you delete those other type of screenshots I've shown, it's only the map screenshots I got. I deleted them from my computer and if you would delete them then they'd be lost. It's those that I want to keep, and if you do need to delete them, either save themf irst or tell me so I can grab them. It's no big deal, I've got photobucket I could use if I needed to. So just in case if you need to delete them, it's ok jsut save them or tell me, it's no big deal.

TO Ryoko: Heh, sorry. Your one of the only ones who's straight foward about it, and I think that's why I feel like that. Ah well, gotta stop doing that:). Plus I got a couple pointless thread here and there also....

I just added a whole bunch of new Family Guy avatars. I also eliminated a bunch of categories and resorted them. Check it out!

My first one, the face behind the three claw marks, was a sketch I did. Then I scanned it in and touched it up with Paint. I have quite a few sketches, but not all of them are that good. Actually, NONE of them are :D

This site is so amazing that is were I learned to use photoshop there is many good tutorials for photoshop and paint shop pro and macromedia flash player.
Its just a suggestion.

    I do know this - xenforo dropped the ball by not keeping the vbulletin reputation comments as a feature. The loss of the Reputation comments data when we switched to Xenforo really was the death knell for the site when it came to all the users that left. I know I missed it so much and I got way less interested in the site when that feature was gone and I run the site.
