That is beyond epic. Though I've seen better on a calculator tbh... It's extremely easy to get a program to convert something using known actions to that type of picture. I've seen movies done on calculators, what is this world coming to...

Through lots of images. CreateImage() stuff o.o? Lol. My comp run at 10 FPS when I play the map.

Images? No, otherwise it would have been better quality. Looks to me like a ton of destructables, special effects, or units. One tinted black, the other tinted white. Every time the image needs a change, enumerate through every single cell and change the color... dear God.

The lag probably comes from the effects themselves.

He uses two grids of images, one white, one black; and hides/shows them as necessary.

Using images does have the potential for higher quality, though it'd require considerably more work.

No no... It's not images, yes. I've seen it done on a calculator with pixel art stuff. Pixels on it work as On/Off, same as his grid, and can test a certain area to see if it is on, and etc. Whatever, it still rocks.

Edit: The map is over 5.5MB!!
Looks unprotected. I didn't have to do anything to it. Opened straight up in MPQ editor. All files look intact.
Edit again: There are waaaaaay to many lines of JASS...

Third edit: It's unprotected. Opened in NewGen with no problems.

There are numerous errors in the script and such..

I got it to open. :S Do not look at the map script, that stuff lagged me out, that number of lines.

I guess so.
I was able to play the LAN one without problems though. How strange.

I was expecting similar.. I had a solid 60-65 FPS for the entire duration of the map.
