Online semi-real-time, semi-turn-based strategy game. That's not a very clear definition. It's a bit like Tactics Arena Online, I think, but it's much cooler. And it has cowboys.

It's in public beta testing right now, so there are a lot of features that haven't been added. Even so, it's still a lot of fun.

My name in-game is Billy the Adult, in case you want to play me.

IU made this thread 5 minutes after you did without noticing :(

Anyways, I would suggest playing it, and trying it out. Has very descriptive tutorials on how to play, and fun gameplay.

My name is Abe Fern, incase you want to play me, too :D

Edit: Sargon, I'm in Abe Fern's parlor now. Password will be: wote

See ya there!

Your thread was a bit more informative. :p

I'll sort of reply to it here:

As you said, not too popular yet. This is pretty much because it's in beta, and there haven't been any huge updates in a few months. Eventually, they'll release the second town, and more people should come back to play it. The second town, by the way, is going to add a whole lot more stuff, units, duds, missions, etc. Eventually, they'll have 5 towns, which will make the game a lot more deep than it is now. Check the website for more info on all that stuff.

It is free, though eventually they're going to implement a micropayment system. Basically, you use both scrip (cash) and gold coins to buy stuff. Eventually, you'll be able to buy gold coins with real money. At the moment, all you can do is trade scrip for gold. That option, of course, won't go away when they enable the real-money-payments, so you'll still be able to play for free, you'll just have to invest more time into the game. (Puzzle Pirates, the other game by the same company, is a very good example of this payment model. If you want to see how it will eventually work, go play that game on a Doubloon ocean.)

Edit: I actually need to go for like twenty minutes, but I'll be able to play after that :p

If anyone wants to play, I'll be around. If I'm in a back parlor, the password will be "jumbles".

This game is quite fun :)

However, I doubt I'm any good at it. I'm just squashing the newbs and the comps...that's about it. Let me know when you're on Sargon; I might try contacting you in-game.

The bots will show up as users online in the forum software but they do not show up in my stats tracking. I am sure there are bots in the stats but the way alot of the bots treat the site do not show up on the stats
  • Varine Varine:
I want to build a filtration system for my 3d printer, and that shit is so much more complicated than I thought it would be
  • Varine Varine:
Apparently ABS emits styrene particulates which can be like .2 micrometers, which idk if the VOC detectors I have can even catch that
  • Varine Varine:
Anyway I need to get some of those sensors and two air pressure sensors installed before an after the filters, which I need to figure out how to calculate the necessary pressure for and I have yet to find anything that tells me how to actually do that, just the cfm ratings
  • Varine Varine:
And then I have to set up an arduino board to read those sensors, which I also don't know very much about but I have a whole bunch of crash course things for that
  • Varine Varine:
These sensors are also a lot more than I thought they would be. Like 5 to 10 each, idk why but I assumed they would be like 2 dollars
  • Varine Varine:
Another issue I'm learning is that a lot of the air quality sensors don't work at very high ambient temperatures. I'm planning on heating this enclosure to like 60C or so, and that's the upper limit of their functionality
  • Varine Varine:
Although I don't know if I need to actually actively heat it or just let the plate and hotend bring the ambient temp to whatever it will, but even then I need to figure out an exfiltration for hot air. I think I kind of know what to do but it's still fucking confusing
  • The Helper The Helper:
Maybe you could find some of that information from AC tech - like how they detect freon and such
  • Varine Varine:
That's mostly what I've been looking at
  • Varine Varine:
I don't think I'm dealing with quite the same pressures though, at the very least its a significantly smaller system. For the time being I'm just going to put together a quick scrubby box though and hope it works good enough to not make my house toxic
  • Varine Varine:
I mean I don't use this enough to pose any significant danger I don't think, but I would still rather not be throwing styrene all over the air

I bitch about Xenforo sometimes but it really is full featured you just have to really know what you are doing to get the most out of it.
  • The Helper The Helper:
It is just not easy to fix styles and customize but it definitely can be done
  • The Helper The Helper:
I do know this - xenforo dropped the ball by not keeping the vbulletin reputation comments as a feature. The loss of the Reputation comments data when we switched to Xenforo really was the death knell for the site when it came to all the users that left. I know I missed it so much and I got way less interested in the site when that feature was gone and I run the site.
