battle.net chat bots

Well there's nothing wrong with the chat bots that don't imitate games.


It's a pretty broad question here. You can write one in any language you want.
I wrote a simple one in VB along time ago but I deleted it. Basically the easiest way to do it is telnet to chat.battle.net on port 6112 and figure out the way the server formats its messages. It's an interesting programming task and its pretty easy if you are familiar with simple winsock programming.

If none of this makes sense to you then you probably can't do it without some research on that aspect of VB and basic networking. :)
 
@ derek they don't support them, but there are chatbots

if any1 have vb chatbot, plz send it, i can use all the help i can get.

i'll try to post here again if i finished my prog
