Battlefield 1942 crash problem

Hey guys, ive just recently purchased bf 1942 a few days ago, because of fallign in love with the mulitplayer demo.

The problem is, i try to play multiplayer i join it, then on the loading map page right at the start, my comptuer crashes and restarts, then when its loaded up again it says (your system has recovered from a serious error). Help please? Im looking so forward to playing it

i have the exact same problem and i have a p4 3.0ghz ht with a 512 memory. I have no idea what the problem can be. I thought though that maybe my 9000 radeon is the problem because my memory is pretty good. Also my pc restarts by itself sometimes. But specially when i play battlefield. Also using other games but in other games it just crashes to desktop or freezes. With battlefield sometimes also restarts. Please any suggestions will help alot.
