Battlefield 1942 freezes

Hi,

Ive playing battlefield for a couple of minutes it begins to freeze, I dont know why.


Im using a AMD Athlon 1.67ghz. 768mb ram, 80gb hard drive, 1.4 patch.

I have the regular video card that came with my computer. It never froze until like 3 days ago.
 
that is kinda odd .
however how BF interacts with the direct x api level is not to shabby

what vidcard do you have ?
if it is an nvidia one i would strongly suggest to goto http://www.nvidia.com
