Amid warnings that we should avoid soft drinks and fruit juice due to their high sugar content, some experts have suggested we drink only milk or water.

But another, rather unlikely low-sugar beverage is increasingly being hailed for its health benefits: beer.

Research suggests it can help protect against Alzheimer’s disease, aid weight loss and even balance hormones – and now it’s attracting more and more health-conscious men and women. A raft of female celebrities are also embracing the brew.

Actress Mila Kunis says her favourite drink is Blue Moon beer, while supermodel Elle Macpherson revealed recently that she washes her hair with it. Even saintly Hollywood star Gwyneth Paltrow has said she ‘can’t get enough of Guinness’.

So what are the benefits of beer, and can it really be good for you?

Hmmm Good for you, bad for you, good for you, bad for you .........................

As long as you do not drink too much at one time too fast you should be fine. The Germans drink beer like water - they consider it food not alcohol. Anything in excess is bad for you - you can die from a water overdose - and getting drunk every day is going to take its toll. If you are not getting drunk every day and your liver can safely process all the alcohol each day without getting backed up you aint going to have a problem.

Editorialized clickbait title.. wish we could vote this down from being on the frontpage...
Clickbait enough for this thread is enough for me. I'm lucky that I don't have to go to that site.

When clicking on articles, you need to know that websites take account of how many clicks they would get for those articles per daily, weekly, and monthly for statistical purposes. If a lot of people click more on clickbait titles, they (media) will follow that trend and continue to write stories with similar clickbait titles.

I discourage people from clicking it, and would rather have a copy of the article without the sensational titles in the headlines and read from there.

I still dont know what click bait means but I know Health and Beauty posts attract spam. Best to limit them to these kinds of threads :)
