BF Crashing on internet

i have DSL from quest & msn and i started playing bf online and 1 night my computer froze when i clicked INTERNET to play. my other computer froze too when i clicked INTERNET. the only wayi could quit battlefield was to use task manager and clikc and program a thousand times. i can't play online anymore and i have no idea whats up.

Have you been able to play before on the same connection or did you use another one before, or is this the first time you tried playing BF1942, and have you played other games on the internet besides 1942 with the same connection?

yes i've played on the same connection and i have played Age of Mythololgy on the internet too. but i only played bf on this connection.

The only thing that I can think of since this is the first time playing battlefield on your new connection it must be the ISP. Have you seen if other games work... if not the it is your ISP. If it is your provider then either e-mail the and see if their is something you can do. It cant be much more then that unless you are running a firewall on your computer.

This isn't my first time playing with my new connection. I played a ton of BF on it, then it stopped working. I have a firewall, but I added it to the allowed programs, and I have played BF online with the firewall before.

Most likely your dsl. They may have updated their server and blocked certain ports from transferring large amounts of data or none at all. May want to e-mail tech support or something like that. Here is the number for tech support... 800-247-7285 it is 24hours 7 days a week so give them a call.
