BF1942 wont load!!! PLEASE HELP!!

Hi i have a toshiba laptop, with ati mobility radeon 32mb installed. Its windows xp, 2.4ghz, 512 ddr mem, 40 gig system. Everytime i try running an instant battle, campaign, or multiplayer the game loads about 10 % and then exits to windows. If you can help i would appriciate it
 
i have the same problem, and its pissin me off. i got a geforce 256 with a 600 mhz dell. i kno its really slow but shouldt it run this?! it loads about 10 % and puts me back to windows. what the hell?!
 
Get the all the latest video and sound drivers from you laptop manufacturer.

    I'd rather personally just own a backup of the Nuon data than see it go to AtariAge honestly. If it gets enshittified as per usual, or if some of the "regular" Jaguar folks get there, it's not gonna be fun
