Bill Murray will not do 'Ghostbusters 3,' admits Dan Aykroyd
Despite plans to introduce a younger generation of spook fighters, and despicable plans to possibly recast Peter Venkman, Dan Aykroyd now seems resigned to the fact that Ghostbusters 3 will not happen--probably.

While in London to promote Crystal Head, his own brand of vodka, Aykroyd admitted to The Telegraph that “it’s a surety that Bill Murray will not do the movie,” though he quickly added that “there is still interest from the studio.”

Eh, I'm not a big fan of people always making more and more sequels, but it is Ghostbusters. Either way it goes, I'm fine.
It'd be cool to see Bill in this again, but he can do what he wants. I don't think the film would necessarily need him to be good, maybe start anew or something, so long they have a good explanation for his character.

The orignial movies are epic. I wouldn't want to see a sequel since that would somehow kind of ruin the other movies...because I don't think they cold pull it off, really.
