Bizarre Infested Terran Glitch

I have this massive map I have been tinkering with on and off for the past two years. More triggers than you can shake a stick at. Massive six player warfare. But I just found this wierd phenomenon.
My last player to program spawns a few "Bloated Threndrians" Aka Infested Terran amoungst its units. Now, for the strangest reason, when I order a Infested to "Attack-move" it'll explode when it stops moving. There are no enemies around. It's fine when I normally just move it, but when I attack move it'll self destruct, usually taking a few of MY units with it. It'll explode even if it's completely alone. I don't have the slightest clue why. Amoung my hundreds of triggers, there's nothing that corresponds to these "Bloated Threndrians" except their spawning every minute if player 6 controls exactly four "Excavation Clockworks" aka Protoss gateways (Yes, I did get that idea from Siege of Gondor)

Any clue to my instant combustion units?

im not 100% but i think using attack move makes terrans attack the point your aiming at (they're attack is suicide)
:D not 100% on this though

No, attack move doesn't do that.

Are they exploding with the green explosion like when they hit an enemy or are they exploding as if they were killed?

I know Starcraft backwards and forwards and I've never heard of this madness. They blow up green, I first noticed this when I was sending units to an area I was testing for Massing, and found all my Infested gone and the rest of my units damaged and destroyed. I retried it and noticed their suicides and tested it as mentioned above. They will blow up, even if there's nothing beside them. I really don't want to put in my mission briefing "don't use attack-move unless you're really attacking" because to Starcrafters like me, attack-move is second nature.

Huh. That is really strange. I have never heard of it doing that.

It doesn't normally do that, look at all the other mass attack maps that use this, they don't do that. I wonder why it would do that to your map?

Are you sure there is nothing triggering the explosions? That's what will happen to me sometimes, is I think I'll have covered all the bases, but then I'll think of something else.

I really have no other idea of why this is happening. Would it be possible for you to post up your map here?

Oh, BTW, make sure you have the latest patches, as these will also take effect in the campaign editor. (latest is 1.13f)

I'm about to ask for people to help me test the map, as it is almost finished (finally! I've been working on it on and off for the past two years!)

But I've gone over all the (MANY) triggers a dozen times, the only reference to these "Bloated Threndrians" are their spawning! This so bizarre!

I do have the latest patch, and I use SCXE to do my maps, though I might use an advanced editor to set one player's color as black later on and to lock the map.

Anyone whos ever played starcraft should understand the infested terran system. The reason for the attack-move like that is so you can target the exact area you want damage in. Its not like it should be changed or bypassed. Lazycoder, who told you that attack-moving infesteds doesnt cause them to blow up? btw hes talking about manualy attack-moving them, not triggering i think.

really...I've never had a infested blow up when I attack-move them to a non-enemy location...very strange...but for people like me I attack-move everything, so it's bad to have the infested blow up within your group of units when you're just moving around

Oh, I thought he was talking about attack moves in the triggers.

BTW, if you are going to lock a map, use Uberation. Nobody has cracked open that system yet. I used to have a deprotector that could deprotect guedit, but that was on my old computer. Nobody knows how to deprotect Uberation protected maps, except the inventor so use that one.

Not True

This new OSMAP system that is out is said to unlock any map at all. Not sure how it does it, but it apparently works.

yea.. they did the infested terrans differently. try it in another map, or a real game. attack move causes them to blow up when they reach the end. i think patrol would work better becuase patrol is like attack move right? and if they are sent to another location, just have it move them again or a new patrol order if you dont want them looping

Its using its "attack" move as in it will suicide...So you gotta "attack" on the unit or the area you want it to go kaboom.. lol i miss starcraft.. in other words us the "move" command..
