Blue screen!!! AAAAAHH!!11!!! please help

Ok, here it goes.

I start up BF 1942 (just got the game) I go to single player campaign and load the first mission. I start the mission see a plane and go running over to get in it. Im flying around and I crash then my computer crashes to a blue screen saying that it is dumping my physical memory, that cant be good. So I get back in the game and start an instant action game. I start walking around and there it is again, blue screen. Oh and Im using a laptop. There is nothing wrong until the blue screen. Please help.

Sounds like you might not have enough ram to run the game . how much do you have.. should be min of 256

Mine does the same thing right in the middle of the first map. It also crashes to the desktop at time while loading multiplayer maps and is about 3/4 done. Does it really take 5 min or more to load the first single player map? I can start to load it, go have a smoke, eat a ham sandwich and knock up the old lady still have time for a beer before it is finished loading....

that behaviour sounds like not to much ram in the computer and a slow harddrive and a slow cpu

a friend of mine rolls and smokes a doobie when he joins our server to play when he loads the map and his cpu is rather low and his ram is rather low also
