I've just bought Microsoft FS2002 and already I'm noticing a whole bunch of bugs and problems with this game.
First of all a lot of the planes are broke or something …Some planes also have flashing and cracking problems in their models.
The controls…just plain suck, its too difficult to land or take off cause the stupid planes always crash. I've never had any trouble handling planes or fighters in any of my other games unless I got shot down or collided with an enemy.
Get one part on the plane broken and your might be screwed, (what the @#$#???)… there's like only one WWII plane the coursair I think its called but there aren't even any usable turrets on it…
No matter how much you try sometimes it seems impossible to keep some of the vehicles under control. You can't even spindive or invert some planes like the 747 without the stupid things doing stuff like breaking in half. There's also too many useless gauges and boring junk in the cockpit that add nothing to the game . I bought this game to fly not get into some jacked up reading contest…
Even with the latest hardware drivers and the settings turned all the way up and the clouds still look flat from certain perspectives.
All in all I'm very disappointed that this game appeared to have gone straight to shelves without some decent QA. The planes look sorta pretty but are so limited and handicapped by the broken code and engine that the play is bland and uninspired.
I've emailed Microsoft with my complaints but there's been no response yet. Do you guys have any fixes for the bugs I've just described?
