I might not log into www.TheHelper.net as much as I used to because Christmas is tomorrow and I'm getting WoW, Doom3, and Halo 2. So I might not be on as much because these games have already engulfed my world:).
 
lol airplane to the moon. but connan have fun im gonna get enough cash for me comp and im not gonna buy an xbox or a new ps2 yet untill they come out with newer versions. but i m still getin 2 games for crhistmass that may keep me off for a little while. i alrdy have 2 ps2s but i want that new thin one lol. and WoW is awesome i hope u have fun i would get it but those monthly fees r gonna kill me. have fun tho and to all on the www.thehelper.net have a MERRY CHRISTMAS
 
dude you should ask your parents why they didn't get you half-life 2 and got you doom 3 instead, that wasn't the best decision in my opinion.

halo 2 and WoW are both good choices though.

Doom3 rules in my opinion because when I first played it (hehe got to open a present early no Christmas Eve, I'm so bad:)) I almost crapped my pants because the graphics are insane and waaaaay to real to me lol. But at the same time it doesn't sacrifice much gameplay for the insane graphics. They do have some very lame jokes that are put in the oddest of places like one where this professor is having an affair with his student or whatever and you are able to read the emails, don't know very much because I didn't pay attention to it. Doom3 is more of a fun game to just blow zombies up and especially the Nazi zombie general dudes are hard as hell but fun to blow up.
It's not anything like Unreal Tournament 2004 (greatest game in the whole wide world) where it's fun to be good and fun o be the best at it. I personally like joining the tournaments and winning them. I beat Xan Kreigor who's an administrator on there and preobably the best player on there, he's one of the legendaries that EVERYONE who plays Unreal Tournament knows about. But it was mainly luck and it was a pretty anticlimactic match because we were only in like the 3rd round when I beat him.
Sorry I ramble, on to Halo 2:). Halo 2 is one of the most popular frist person shooters and me, being a fan of first person shooters I just had to try it out. I was not going to get it at first because the first one was kind of a drag but then I heard that the second one was like a slap in the face( hope I used that expression right:p) because it was totally different from the first one and waaaaay better.
WoW.... what more is their to say? I mean it's WoW for god's sake, it's a legend to any Blizzard fan(dramatization) and one of the most sought game's in it's genre. One thing that surprised me is that on the box that you get it in it doesn't say anywhere that I saw about the monthly payment. I can just see some dude buyin it and then getting mad because he can't play it for more than a day:p.(don't know, they might give you a month's free)
One thing that really pissed me off was friggin Target... they wouldn't let me buy Doom3 even though my mom was buyin it for me. It really made me mad and I could've probably told them I could've told the friggin Arabic their that I was born in 1969 and she would've believed me... Sorry I'm rambling on about stuff that ya'll probably ain't interested in and I probably need to stop. I'm fixin' to(<---now you can seriously tell I'm Texan) play me some Doom3 and blow the hell out of those damn Nazi general zombies. Keep your finger crossed, I'm in hell right now and I might not come back alive so don't wait for me:*(.(Doom3 players will know what I'm taling about, well any non-dumbass should figure it out quickly enough.) So did you like my ong ass speech about video games and all those damn (forgot what these are called lol----->)


O yea I might not go away from these forums because even though i have like 5 new video games (already even though it isn't Christmas) I still find time to enjoy some good ole' fashion Warcraft III:) O and also which game was the first to mke the whole Warcraft and Starcraft genre? LIke town building and destroying genre. I thought in my dumbass way that Warcraft started it lol but then I got AoE and AoEII and found out that those are older than Warcraft.


(Sorry, some things I went back and rewrote them but some of the parts of the old lines are still there. I know what I'm refferring to but I don't feel like changing them because I'm too lazy right now:p)
 
If my memory is correct, Dune 2 was the game that pioneered the RTS genre. It was made by the guys who made the command & conquer series of games.
 
What category would Diablo 2 be in anyways? I know it's an RPG but it's not like a turn based strategy or real time strategy. I'm just curious.

    I did do a rare thing for me and hire a girl last month without warning. Everyone was made at me because I started her at like 21, but she worked with me before and I was like don't care. She made 19 at her old job and I wanted her to come work with me, she is the best

She can do it no problem, I've worked with her there.

    They won't get feel down while they do the thermometer, but we didn't have an instant read probe when I was learning. Like they did but god knows how off it is, you HAD to do it by feel. Even if the chef was fine with me bringing my own, it takes too long. Poke and know

    I recently had an experience with a waiter that really brought down @Varine's point about them being in sales. The first waiter just asked "anything else? deserts?" and when the table shook their head said "ok" and left. Then the other waiter came in and started going off describing the deserts and you could see the heads turning, and they finally got a bunch of deserts
