Building auto-build

How do you make a building auto-construct once it's placed?

Try making the builder Undead with the undead builder abilities and making the buildings for the undead race too. (I think thats what it was)

There are other solutions, but this is the simplest.

Don't worry you don't have to turn the builder into an acolyte, you can keep it as a peasant, you just need to change it's building ability to the undead one, I'm not sure about changing it's classification though, as I haven't needed to do this in any maps so far.

If you REALLY want another solution, I'll give you one:

This requires a dummy unit based from a peasant, with no model file (type in '.mdl' where in the field for the model file), give the unit the Locust ability so now it is invisible, and un-selectable. Next change it's collision size to 0, and change it's speed to something high, 700 should do it.

Next you need to make 2 triggers which looks something like this:

E: Unit begins construction
C: constructing unit is a structure equal to true [I][B]You don't really need this nut I put it in there just incase[/B][/I]
A: For each integer from 1 to 5 do actions
    Create 1 dummybuilder for owner of constructing unit at point of constructing unit.
        Order last created unit to repair(Human) constructing unit

E: Unit finishes construction
C:
A: pick every unit withing 300 of constructing unit and do actions
      If pikced unit equal to dummybuilder then do remove picked unit

The only thing you really need is setting your worker's race to undead.
That should already do it.

Err, I don't know much about this but isn't the ability called 'Build - Undead'

Or is there just 1 build ability, and the buildings allowed to be built depend on a unit's classification?

The ability is called Build (undead) but I'm pretty sure they have to be undead to make it auto build.
