Building Cart, Looking For Feedback

Working on a roller coaster game for the windows phone, and building a cart model.
After receiving feedback. I decided to make the cart (picture 1, picture 7).
Note, beyond this coaster project I have no experience in 3d modeling, so I am limited in my ability.

Someone requested that there be a over head bar instead of a lap bar, this is why I picked this cart.

Looking for feed back on my model. Any Suggestions would be great.

Is this a lot for a cart model? 4000 Polys, 4500 Verts
Colors ok?
Textures ok?
Lighting Blots make It awesome to the max?

Thats by far more then is needed i'd say.
But there are plenty of good modelers on TheHive, why dont you ask there for some help and feedback?

I figure i going way over board, as 80% of the time you wont see the cart, and of the 20% of the time you do, 90% of that time it will be about the size of my figure nail.

Leaving about 2% of the total time, that your riding, in first person view or a camera view that shows the cart really close up. like in the cart.

But the real cost of the coaster, if using a 2ed gen win7 phone will likely by 3-5 frames per sec.
So i figure its ok if i can keep it above 30 fps.



On another note.. I will at some point port this to the Win 8 Market Place or just sliver-light. But I am not designing the models for that.

I dropped the cart down to 800 polys. Its nearly the same.

Well, how goes the creation of the game?

Mostly good, I got a little ui to clean up. and i hope to release it some time next week. When i do ill, try to make a quick 1-2 min vid on it.
