I hope you can pilot a helicopter or a airplane on multilayer that would be awesome and maybe that you can use grapple line from helicopter that would be epic!

So many other games you can do that sort of thing on (Warhawk for example) that it would make CoD lose some of its uniqueness.
If they do include vehicles, they should include the ability to join games with vehicles turned off (so vehicles don't spawn).

And, I noticed the other day, you can shoot through walls but mysteriously you cannot shoot people through glass. The glass doesn't even shatter, which I think is a major oversight when the rest of the graphics are so good.

That would be too much like Battlefield and would turn many players away from Call of Duty, as it's a big big change from it's current gameplay that people already love. You gotta look at these things from the developers point of view. :D

exactly what im trying to say.

if they do add vehicles, in cod4/2 i would stay at cod4 and cod2.
But hopefully infinity wouldnt make vehicles in multiplayer, thats why we have two developers now trechyard and infinity ward. but as statistic show infinity is clearly better. Cod1, Cod2, Cod4 > cod5 + cod3 difference between vehicles interactive stuff compare to just a player and some bullets.

CoD 1 through CoD 3 were horrible, CoD 4 and CoD 5 were awesome! I don't know how you could even think the first 3 CoD's were any good, most people hate them. And I say that with statistics backing me, google it up and you'll see people aren't too fond of the first three.

If they add vehicles, they'll need bigger maps. Bigger maps = Battlefield = Not Call of Duty = Not going to happen. I doubt they'll make vehicles really, and if they do, they won't be like Battlefield. I vote that if they do that, they call it "Call of Duty: Vehicle Warfare" so people that don't research games don't buy it and get pissed off. :p

please do tell why cod 1 or cod2 was horrible, don't include 3 :(

long before cod was as popular as now.. cod required a large amount of 'skills'(not cod3 imo cod3 = trechyard = bad).

i don't want to say I'm full professional cause then I'll be showing off.;) But if you ever play to a higher level of Cod where you get largely involved in 'Serious Gaming brah' you'll find most people are fond of cod 2 and 1.
I can interview a whole community, and i dare say people who've played cod2 would not say its horrible.

A little insight to what 'Professional cod is like'

I played CoD 1 and 2 on PS2 without multiplayer so I only experienced the single player campaigns. As far as I am concerned, they were all strong and better than the ageing Medal of Honor series (which has since slipped into the black hole of gaming memory).

3 Was good too, but not as good as any of the others.

I hope they will add a good sniper mission in the new cod. Cause i think the sniper mission in cod4 was one of the best missions i ever played:)!

And i also hope they add more intense action so you need to think more and pick your actions

Is stuff going to be destructable?

Tanks in CoD5 were impossible to kill without an RPG or a lot of satchel charges.

Yeah... like that in real life usually, too. That's why we got Javelins and stuff.

No, because CoD 3 is inferior next to CoD 4. So CoD 4 will be inferior next to Modern Warfare 2. See how that works? It's quite simple really

but cod2 is more inferior to 3 :O, if any of you use xfire, you will see that cod2 is still the top game after cod4 and WoW

(Minutes Played Today)

World of Warcraft 18,146,646

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare Multiplayer 12,732,904

Call of Duty 2 Multiplayer 6,316,039

Team Fortress 2 3,397,134

Counter-Strike: Source 2,637,554

just cant stop telling everyone CoD2 is one of the best fps games. o_O

Sorry i quite bad at english, but what you're saying is that MW2 is going to be better than cod4(and if it's what you mean then i agree :))

I ordered like five blocks for 15 dollars. They're just little aluminum blocks with holes drilled into them
  • Varine Varine:
They are pretty much disposable. I have shitty nozzles though, and I don't think these were designed for how hot I've run them
  • Varine Varine:
I tried to extract it but the thing is pretty stuck. Idk what else I can use this for
  • Varine Varine:
I'll throw it into my scrap stuff box, I'm sure can be used for something
  • Varine Varine:
I have spare parts for like, everything BUT that block lol. Oh well, I'll print this shit next week I guess. Hopefully it fits
  • Varine Varine:
I see that, despite your insistence to the contrary, we are becoming a recipe website
  • Varine Varine:
    Which is unique I guess.
  • The Helper The Helper:
Actually I was just playing with having some kind of mention of the food forum and recipes on the main page to test and see if it would engage some of those people to post something. It is just weird to get so much traffic and no engagement
  • The Helper The Helper:
So what it really is me trying to implement some kind of better site navigation not change the whole theme of the site
  • Varine Varine:
How can you tell the difference between real traffic and indexing or AI generation bots?
  • The Helper The Helper:
The bots will show up as users online in the forum software but they do not show up in my stats tracking. I am sure there are bots in the stats but the way alot of the bots treat the site do not show up on the stats
  • Varine Varine:
I want to build a filtration system for my 3d printer, and that shit is so much more complicated than I thought it would be
  • Varine Varine:
Apparently ABS emits styrene particulates which can be like .2 micrometers, which idk if the VOC detectors I have can even catch that
  • Varine Varine:
Anyway I need to get some of those sensors and two air pressure sensors installed before an after the filters, which I need to figure out how to calculate the necessary pressure for and I have yet to find anything that tells me how to actually do that, just the cfm ratings
  • Varine Varine:
And then I have to set up an arduino board to read those sensors, which I also don't know very much about but I have a whole bunch of crash course things for that
  • Varine Varine:
These sensors are also a lot more than I thought they would be. Like 5 to 10 each, idk why but I assumed they would be like 2 dollars
  • Varine Varine:
Another issue I'm learning is that a lot of the air quality sensors don't work at very high ambient temperatures. I'm planning on heating this enclosure to like 60C or so, and that's the upper limit of their functionality
  • Varine Varine:
Although I don't know if I need to actually actively heat it or just let the plate and hotend bring the ambient temp to whatever it will, but even then I need to figure out an exfiltration for hot air. I think I kind of know what to do but it's still fucking confusing
  • The Helper The Helper:
Maybe you could find some of that information from AC tech - like how they detect freon and such
  • Varine Varine:
That's mostly what I've been looking at
  • Varine Varine:
I don't think I'm dealing with quite the same pressures though, at the very least its a significantly smaller system. For the time being I'm just going to put together a quick scrubby box though and hope it works good enough to not make my house toxic
  • Varine Varine:
I mean I don't use this enough to pose any significant danger I don't think, but I would still rather not be throwing styrene all over the air
