Can I change my name to something longer than 12 characters?

Well, the title is pretty much self-explanatory. My full name is 'annihilator127', but it doesn't fit in the text box. So I've gone and done what I've done on the DS and Wii firmware, Dragon Quest IX, Mario Kart DS and every other game that doesn't let me use 14-character names, and abbreviated it to 'A127'.

Not a serious problem, but I'd like to know why there is a 12-character limit on the names.

Also, can I change the text below my name that says 'Junior User (Am I getting my questions answered?)'? Because BlackRose is saying you can change it. And some people have text that looks like they wrote it.

For the second question, you need 100 rep or more to be able to change your custom user title.

Question 1 is probably because 12 characters is all that the forum's database is limited to, for each username.

I changed your name to annihilator127 for you. Don't know why it won't let you do that, looks like its a bug. When you get passed 100 rep you can change your custom title. Until then, it will change as your post count increases.
