Can you change the menu resolution?

Ok so I buy this game a couple days ago, and when I try to play everything is blurry. I find out that it's because my video card (Geforce 2 ultra 64mb) can't read the 800x600 resolution. The same thing happened to me in World of Warcraft but I managed to go to options and change the resolution so that it would work. However for Battlefield the options for changing the resolution appears to only be for IN GAME play so evidently 800 x 600 is hardwired into the game as the menu resolution. Because of this most things are unreadable. Is there any way to change the menu resolution to something other than 800x600 and if so how? Id appreciate any help cause I'm dying to play. Btw ive already installed the latest drivers and tried changing the resolution through notepad in the settings folder but nothing seems to work.

Heres my computer specs:
1.2 Ghz AMD
512 ram
Geforce 2 Ultra 500 64 mb
 
Go to your Battlefeild 1942 folder, and look for a program called "BFconfig.exe" or something to that extent, then run it and it should have an option for changing the menu resolution.
 
I can't find that file but I desperately need to figure out how to change the menu resolution

    this is the fix I get from that yeah this is hard to control. disabling bots is pretty much necessary as ai and other bots would push really old threads to the top. reduce weight of view count. disable guest view tracking if you really want to push active threads to the top. a bit of tinkering for a few days with the weights and other settings should get you a decent trending widget box.

    One thing I have noticed and I dont know if it is by design but like 1 out of 3 times I come to the site the Anubis screen just hangs open, if I refresh it will go away but sometimes it hangs

    Wow - the change in the stats are major. I kind of knew it was all bots but wow, to see the effect. Why the social media sites cant do something like this I have no idea.

    Probably inflates their numbers so they look better to advertisers.

    Yeah google does not filter those bots. I remember when Apex was doing Google ads I saw the same IPs in there as I was seeing here - google is totally tracking all those bots as traffic and most google traffic, at least ours, was all bots
