Cannot connect to account

I left the game for a almost 3 months now and came back...
I know my account names, and passwords. I can connect to all my other
accounts but not a certain one. There is nothing offensive in the
account name or the characters.
When I try to log onto the account it just has the Please Wait sign
up and then tells me I lost my connection.
I REALLY need to get onto this account and play. An account that me
and I friend played together is now gone, we both stopped playing for
awhile and when we start to come back nothing. It's okay, we just
started that one. But I want MY account back! It had my good stuff on
it... If I can't get that back I might as well quit, too stressing to
lose my account for no reason at all. I believe ONE time I got it to
tell me the password was wrong (which it WASN'T!!).
somebody, please help me. I want to play again, I want to
have fun- this is not fun. PLEASE help me out on this one,
it's in your hands. Thanks for reading this.
 
Sounds like your account timed out. In order to keep your Battle.net Account Active you have to meet this requirement

If a character is not used for at least 2 hours in the first 48 hours, and at least once every 90 days after the initial 2 hours, the character will expire.

Blizzard Entertainment will not resurrect expired characters.

hmmm sorry to bring back old post but.... if i was to play on warcraft once every couple days on the same account i used to play d2 on... would i lose my amazon in 3 months.. because i DONT TOUCH THAT CHARACTER or.. is it cool because i am ON THE ACCOUNT

i really dont wanna lose that amazon :eek:
 
The account is still there. Sometimes it says wrong password, and sometimes it just holds up the please wait window until it finally says I lost my connection to Bnet. There was one other person on the bliz open tech forums that had the same problem. He posted under my post (post name is PsykyX). Account is there because all of my other accounts were there. The SHARED account is gone, which I don't care about. I played this account often with my main account so there is no way it should be gone.
 
explain this shared account thing ok ?
i got the feeling that you are sharing cd keys and accounts ?

That's a good question.

If you play Warcraft II Bnet Edition and leave the Diablo II one, will it still be there ? Using the same account name on the same realm...

I don't think so, because when you create a character the Liscence Agreement says "You use the character every 3 month. But I might be wrong here.
 
What I mean by shared account is that we each know the account name and Password. We have our own CD keys. I just brought that up to show that there was an account I played that get deleted because of inactivity. I am only concerned about my account that won't log-on. My other account logs on, but this ONE certain account just sits there at the 'Please Wait' sign and then disconnects. My other account does not, which I brought up to show that the 90 days hadn't run out on it or the account that won't open up. It just won't open at all. When it does not give me the 'Please Wait' sign for 5 minutes before saying I got disconnected it tells me my Password is wrong, which it is not! I just need to know if my account is gone or what. Because if I can't log-in it will be gone very soon.
 
well no matter..

i just gotta PRAY i can find a way to get on d2 for like 2 minutes at a friends house to log in with my characters and hope they still there and renew my 3 months :p
 
You need to log onto the account at least once every few months to keep the account active

In addition, you need to log on to specific Diablo 2 characters to keep them active.

So if you just play War2 or SC, your ACCOUNT will stay up but Diablo 2 characters might disappear.

In the original post in this thread, it says it just hangs and loses the connection: when your account gets deleted it SHOULD say "invalid password" or "account not found" or something like that...
 
That is exactly what my account is doing, except I was in mine yesterday, and daily for several months now :-(

    It's actually remarkably easy to make mayonnaise though. Fun fact, it USED to kind of be a French mother sauce. I believe that Careme considered it one, it may have been aioli but that has also built a different meaning than it used to. An aioli is just mayonnaise I mixed with other shit typically, I didn't start it don't come at me

I can only make about two quarts at a time with my robo coup, and if I have to make several in series because I forgot to order it becomes really obvious even when I do it. We have to wait and mix them all together to make sure we have the same thing.

I serve 400-500 guests on average per day right now, if I had 100 then we could do things way better

I do think I won though, I have to keep my fucking core staff and they have to be gainfully employed

I can go to 25 if she keeps up. I need to get her onto line more, that's what she wants, but I need her where she is and it's not fair that she doesn't get the little bit of raise that comes with it. She can do it no problem, I've worked with her there.

Some of them use thermometers a lot and they don't always use them right, but they do know how to do it. Failure, especially in this field, is the only way to get better. They'll get it

    They won't get feel down while they do the thermometer, but we didn't have an instant read probe when I was learning. Like they did but god knows how off it is, you HAD to do it by feel. Even if the chef was fine with me bringing my own, it takes too long. Poke and know
