Can't get custom abilities...

Well the title says it all for the most part. Basically, me and my friend wanted to make a map for our clan to hold tryouts for new members on. We've made some custom units but we can't figure out custom abilities at all. We both have RoC and i think that is half the problem there (no ability editor) so i was wondering how i woudl make custom abilities in RoC without triggers (if that's possible)

I've read several tutorials but they all refer to the ability editor which i have yet to find in the RoC editor. If it's possible, or if the ability editor is there please tell me.

making custom abilities in RoC is difficult and required a MPQ edit to insert files into the map, all members would suggest that you go get the expansion.

lol the only simple way to do what you areasking is to blow 20.00% on the expansion, even the triggers are primitive in Roc.

Its not required to get roc. Some of the best maps are on RoC. Not everyone on RoC plays dota either...

lol rad, spoken like a true dota hater!, but my comment stands, go buy the frozen throne, youll be able to do around 3 timesas much as you can do on the Roc editor!

my friend had FT but he was getting annoyed because a lot fo the stuff he was putting in was FT material and he didn't want to mess it up. most of my clan is RoC only though... can i make maps using the FT editor that are still useable in RoC?

Yes, you'll just have to be careful. If you put something in and the game gives you the "TFT-only" message when you save, you can find out what you added that's TFT-only in the map properties dialog (I think).
