cant logg on to battle.net (please wait) all the time when pressing log in

I downloaded a color hack that my friend send me. since then i cant logg on battle.net eveytime. just sometimes and its very rare that i can get in. I get as far as to write in account name and password then when i press log in :: please wait:: i press cancel after 5 min and then log in again :: u have been disconnected from battle.net please try again :: If color hack is the problem i will delete it. But someone please help me. ( I havent downloaded some hacks or trainers or any thing like that) please help me get d2 to work again.

well that teaches you to mess around with hacks .
things todo

system clean ? ok proceed
remove the hack .
then uninstall battlenet using the add/remove program .
then delete the bncache.dat in your diablo folder .

The color bans your IP for a limited time. (Can range from 30 seconds to 30 days) If you have a dynamic IP, just reconnect to your ISP. If your IP is static, you might have to contact your ISP for getting another IP.

As mentionned before, scan your computer, delete that file and reinstall the game.

I dont know what i am doing wrng but this i an logg on it happens me nearly everytime don know what to prevent it to stop... sometimes it works woth deleting bncache.dat file but now it doesnt work.... what shall i do?

I have done this to prevent the :lease wait :: thing!

1. deleted bncache.dat file
2. deleted all hacks(maphack)
3. maked a reinstall on a different folder
4. deleted key battle.net (start->drive ->regedit-> hk_user/software/battle.net
and local machine../software/battle.net
5. scanned my computer for trojan virus and etc.

restarted my comp several times after doing the things ....

What shall I do?? sick of not playing diablo2-LoD ;(

Don't use hacks for anything, I know my friend would hack all the time and nothing would happen to him, but it finally caught up with him and he got his Diablo II: LOD account deleted.

Just becareful or you may find your account password changed one day.

I can't log in either. I don't download hacks or use trainers for my game. I've done a few virus checks but nothing has come up. It was working about 2 weeks ago and it just stopped letting me log in. I figured it was my internet not letting the game through but sending for a password recovery thinking that I was using the wrong password proved that wrong. I have disabled my firewall also and that didn't work either. I don't know what's wrong with it. :X

When i try to log into the sc battle.net it says i have to do it manually and i get a patch but it still doesnt work. it says i have a more updated version.

well, when i have problems with accounts i always reinstal the ; i deleted all files based on the game from C:\WINDOWS\Prefetch.
the i reboot my computer: reinstal the game : then back to work:
i dont know if C:\WINDOWS\Prefetch realy is a damaged archives but give it a try
