Can't play music

Whatever I try, (play music theme, play sound,…) I can't play the blood elf theme in my level for some reason. Why?

Dont use play theme

Just use Sound - Play music (music)

Did you go to the sound editor and right click it, and say "use as music" first?

Do you mean the channel selection?
I don't find "use as music" in the list which appears when I right click it.
I have a mac, remember.

Did you mean "play sound", or "play music"? 'Cause "Play sound" doesn't work as well. Or does that have to do with the fact that I didn't select "music" in the sound variable options?

And when I use "play music", the only possible selection is "Last played music".

Well I be at work now.

I go to the sound manager, scroll down to music, and open the field I want.

Find the music I want, then right-click, and click "Use as Music"

Then I use the trigger (or used to, till i made a huge playlist)

Play Sound (First menu)
Sound - Play Music (Second menu)
Then pull down your new "Music" variable and pick it.

I did not alter any channels or property of the music variable.

* The editor has a different interface for mac? Does that mean we can only play your maps on a mac?

No, it doesn't have a different interface, but, err, a different…_"List-that-appears-when-you-right-click-some-sound-variable-in-the-warcraft-III-world-editor".
