Ok,
I was thinking of adding cars to my map...
Anyway, since I want to make it a bit more realistic, it would be cool if these cars would not be moveble unless there`s a driver in them.
So I know a few ways to do this ... but I want to make the triggers as simple as possible, so I`m open for any suggestions.
 
In the Warchasers, there's a tank which you can conduct when you enter it.

Are you sure you saw it in the Warchasers?


BTW does anyone know what does the load pilot ability do?
Maybe it has something to do with this.
 
You need to use triggers, not objects.
The action you'll basically need is the "change ownership" action.

When the unit enters the car, change the ownership of the unit, hide it, and change the ownership of the car.

When the unit leaves the car, you'll need to unhide the unit, and change the ownership of the unit and car again.
 
You cant enter a car if its not owned by you, except if you set up the share units thing... but thats not something I want to do.

I just downlaoded the UMSWE edition (wow... I had no idea it was so great)... and now I have an option to set up unit speed YIPPEE ;)
 
load pilot is an ability that was removed during the war3 beta, I doubt it functions any more. The human demolition tank used to have this ability - you could load dwarven riflemen into the tank and it would become like a mobile bunker unit.

err unless my memory is getting worse you can already do that with the standard editor...

Maybe, not sure... I didnt see it before but, whatever my BMW works :D

    They won't get feel down while they do the thermometer, but we didn't have an instant read probe when I was learning. Like they did but god knows how off it is, you HAD to do it by feel. Even if the chef was fine with me bringing my own, it takes too long. Poke and know

    I recently had an experience with a waiter that really brought down @Varine's point about them being in sales. The first waiter just asked "anything else? deserts?" and when the table shook their head said "ok" and left. Then the other waiter came in and started going off describing the deserts and you could see the heads turning, and they finally got a bunch of deserts
