Changing The Color Of The Cannonballs

Hello,

I got 2 questions about changing the color of the cannonballs

1. do I have to go to the 'Ammo' menu for this? or Loot? or Turrets?

2. If I change the color of the cannonball, does the cannon I duplicated also have this color then?

(I want to give yellow cannonballs to a cannon, but when I upgrade the cannon, the color of the cannon becomes orange and must shoot orange cannonballs)

Does anyone know how to fix this?


Start cannon: blue + blue cannonballs
Upgr. 1 cannon: yellow + yellow cannonsballs
Upgr. 2 cannon: orange + orange cannonballs
Upgr. 3 cannon: red + red cannonballs
Upgr. 4 cannon: pink + pink cannonballs
Upgr. 5 cannon: purple + purple cannonballs

(upgrade 5 is the last tower upgrade)

This is exactly how I want to make it

Missiles are just units. So to colour one you would use the same method as when you would colour a unit. Go to the Actors data type and find your Cannonball. Then edit the Event: Events + property and create a new event. Set the Msg Type of the event to Actor Creation and set the Msg Type of the action to Set Tint Color. Then modify the colour to your desired value.

Use the same method as above to colour your cannon.

I assume your using a morph ability to upgrade the cannon to its new version and each version has a different weapon? In this case, you can colour each version of the cannon unit and create a new version of the cannonball missile for each level of the cannon and colour each of them as desired:
Cannon (Level 1) is blue and fires Cannonball (Level 1) which is also blue.
Cannon (Level 2) is yellow and fires Cannonball (Level 2) which is also yellow.
Cannon (Level 3) is orange and fires Cannonball (Level 3) which is also orange.
etc
