Changing tooltip through triggers?

Is there any way to change the tooltip of an item through triggers? If I can't I guess I'll have to do it the hard way and create an item with every possible combination...

to change the tooltip thingy go to object editor then click on the abilites tab now to make tooltips make a custom ability (or choose a premade one) then go down to the area that says text tooltip and change them to what you want your tooltip to say, put name or whaterver in text normal and other info in text normal-extended like damage or summaries of the spell, hope that helps
