Hello again!

I'm trying to rig up a cinematic that happens at the start of the game. Sadly, the game just starts, skipping my movie. Boooo on that!

What I've got set up so far:

Event:
Time elapsed in game: 0.05 seconds

Actions: (all cinematic unless stated otherwise)
Turn on Cinematic mode,
Turn on letterbox (fade out 2 sec),
Disable user control
Clear screen of txt messages
Turn subtitle display overide On
(camera action) Apply Camera (...done several times for several seconds each...)
Turn cinematic off
turn off letterbox
enable user control
(camera action) reset camera for player 1

So... nothing happens... no letterbox, nuthin. Anything that I should have put in, or anything that I should have left out?

Thanks in advance!

Ok, please bare with me as this is my first time map editing. :o

I added in "map initialization" to the event... and the camera is now stuck where my first "apply camera" is set up, and now doesn't move across the screen. Still no letterbox, etc... I'm just not getting something.

Do you have a map you could recomend for studying (one that a camera that follows a path through part of the map)?

Thanks again.

You may want to do some waiting between every "Apply Camera..." action.
It's parameter means how long takes the camera to change to the new position, not how many time it will remain still.
I don't know if I'm good at explaining :D

No, that helped! Also the map was amazingly useful!

Basically my cameras were firing off all at once... so it seemed like nothing was happening :)

(camera action) Apply Camera (...done several times for several seconds each...)

can you post the triggers about the above couse mostly u must wait untill camera applys to a location
i mean if u have given a command that camera applies in 3 secs u must put
wait 3 seconds under this line to make it work

Not on the Headline News page just on the Forums page can we get that Featured and Trending on the home page?
  • Ghan Ghan:
Since the home page is technically a forum, it now shows on all forum views. Still in the sidebar.
