Civilization IV is the newest installment of the the Civilization Series, with its Expansion Packs - Warlords and Beyond the Sword. Players can use almost any units from Cavemen Warriors to Stealth bombers. Create and Destroy religions. Make Wonders and cities. Use Espionage to destroy their enemies and Fight from Dawn of Man to the Final Frontier....


You can play as (with both expansion packs) 34 Civilizations and change the course of history. See all of them Here

No, it's not. Civilization IV is only for PC

Oh, well Civ Rev was a good game. But I don't have a PC so I couldn't play any of that series.

I have Civ4 and now that I look at all the new stuff, I think I might have to dig up a copy of Warlords and BtS for myself, too. That is some mighty impressive stuff, I'd have gotten them just for all the new leaders!

Well, there are a lot of things about Civ IV that don't really present themselves to you. If you want to improve your skills, I recommend reading some of the strategies and guides here :thup:

Well, if you don't want to read all that, you could read the in-game Civilopedia instead. It is a complex game, but it's incredibly fun

There is a very simple explanation for this:
Civilization Revolution is part of the Civilization Series... Just another game they made. (I believe it goes CivI -> CivII -> CivIII -> CivRev -> CivIV -> CivColonization (The one that deals with American Colonies/Revolution))

I have civ4 with both expansions as well Really awesome game, although turn based isn`t for everybody.

I would also suggest downloading Fall from heaven mod from civfanatics, I really enjoyed it!(although this mod makes the game feel more like a chance game, but nontheless really nice!).

I have to try to the Final Frontier Mod

I may do the fall from heaven one too but I don't know that kind of goes beyond the purpose of Civilization

Was CivRev the only one for 360?

I am not sure but I believe so because Civ4 and Civ Colonization are the only 2 recent enough to be on the 360 and those two are PC/Mac only.
