Turn down the Toaster Settings! Remember that the bottom is going to be laying on the coils. Also, you must butter the break I am sure like a grilled cheese. Butter the bottom of the bread that is going to be touching the coils and set the temperature down on the toaster.

Nope! looks like Jedi tried it though

no, i wanted to but my toasters been broked for a long time now :/ i saw that image like yesterday and figured it could be a good warning to people who do try it with high heat settings :p

There's a solution
Just go out and buy some bread :D

Dammit I'm also out of bread, only have one slice :/
Some things I did learn while hypothetically trying.
1.) Make sure you empty the crumbs out of the toaster first, otherwise they have a nice convention on your counter, and they burn on the coils.
2.) Make sure your toaster is wide enough that the cheese on your bread doesn't hit any metal part in your toaster, otherwise it will be a bitch for you to clean.
Someone please try this soon so I know if it works!

We have bread, we have cheese. I shall be back in a few gentlemen. :D

Conclusion! It's possible, and with very little mess. Just make sure not to push the bread against he back too hard, and make sure the cage doesn't smash onto the cheese. :)

Pictures:

Getting ready!

Gotta line it up.

Had to prop the cage thingy up or it smashed the cheese...

I guess I pushed it too far back and it burnt the top. Doh!

Completed product!

And it was edible, and quite good. :)

Mine got the cheese all stuck in the toaster and started smoking LOL! Going to wait and let the cheese rot out a little bit before I chisel it out. Good thing I don't need a toaster much.

If you try this be careful. The cheese will stick to the top if you try to use a spatula to get it out unless you are real careful. I don't recommend trying it though because you can screw up your toaster and being on its side if there is anything in there can cause a fire.

How can you tell the difference between real traffic and indexing or AI generation bots?
  • The Helper The Helper:
The bots will show up as users online in the forum software but they do not show up in my stats tracking. I am sure there are bots in the stats but the way alot of the bots treat the site do not show up on the stats
  • Varine Varine:
I want to build a filtration system for my 3d printer, and that shit is so much more complicated than I thought it would be
  • Varine Varine:
Apparently ABS emits styrene particulates which can be like .2 micrometers, which idk if the VOC detectors I have can even catch that
  • Varine Varine:
Anyway I need to get some of those sensors and two air pressure sensors installed before an after the filters, which I need to figure out how to calculate the necessary pressure for and I have yet to find anything that tells me how to actually do that, just the cfm ratings
  • Varine Varine:
And then I have to set up an arduino board to read those sensors, which I also don't know very much about but I have a whole bunch of crash course things for that
  • Varine Varine:
These sensors are also a lot more than I thought they would be. Like 5 to 10 each, idk why but I assumed they would be like 2 dollars
  • Varine Varine:
Another issue I'm learning is that a lot of the air quality sensors don't work at very high ambient temperatures. I'm planning on heating this enclosure to like 60C or so, and that's the upper limit of their functionality
  • Varine Varine:
Although I don't know if I need to actually actively heat it or just let the plate and hotend bring the ambient temp to whatever it will, but even then I need to figure out an exfiltration for hot air. I think I kind of know what to do but it's still fucking confusing
  • The Helper The Helper:
Maybe you could find some of that information from AC tech - like how they detect freon and such
  • Varine Varine:
That's mostly what I've been looking at
  • Varine Varine:
I don't think I'm dealing with quite the same pressures though, at the very least its a significantly smaller system. For the time being I'm just going to put together a quick scrubby box though and hope it works good enough to not make my house toxic
  • Varine Varine:
I mean I don't use this enough to pose any significant danger I don't think, but I would still rather not be throwing styrene all over the air

I bitch about Xenforo sometimes but it really is full featured you just have to really know what you are doing to get the most out of it.
  • The Helper The Helper:
It is just not easy to fix styles and customize but it definitely can be done
  • The Helper The Helper:
I do know this - xenforo dropped the ball by not keeping the vbulletin reputation comments as a feature. The loss of the Reputation comments data when we switched to Xenforo really was the death knell for the site when it came to all the users that left. I know I missed it so much and I got way less interested in the site when that feature was gone and I run the site.
