comp locks up with wc3 plz heeeeelp!

hi, i'm new here and might not know if this was on but my comp keeps freezing every time war3 runs. not at the very start but in a bout 20 mins into a game it starts looping sound, and the screen seems to stop so i can't do anything. in about 20 sec another part of the sound gets looped and the screen changes for another 20 sec. i can't do anything but reset my computer. i have tried everything - installing new drivers for both my win2k and hardware, defragmenting my drive and all that. i didn't format the drive cuz i alredy did and only after that the error started to occur
help me pleeeeeeasee
