compaq ?

my girlfriend has a compaq presario 6000, and its haveing problems with freezing up. i talked to a friend who had a comp identical to it, and he said try taking a stick of ram out, or switch the sticks around, then try it the other way around.

are there any suggestions to help us troubleshoot?
 
Try the Ram switch. You might also want to disable any power savings mode the computer might have. You can do this in the Bios. I believe you can contact Compaq tech support about this as well. Compaq sucks and alot of times there tech support can help more than we can.
 
yeah, weve tryed teh RAM thingy, and yes compaq sucks some major ass--pardon my french--and weve contacted compaq tech support, and done what they said. nothing is working, im going to jsut get a new comp in the near future, so thanks for the feedback.

    Yeah google does not filter those bots. I remember when Apex was doing Google ads I saw the same IPs in there as I was seeing here - google is totally tracking all those bots as traffic and most google traffic, at least ours, was all bots

    The first gate is stopping all the bots that don't execute javascript.

    That's the main thing with Anubis - no Javascript, no site. Typically you can still get the site to load without Javascript.
