Not exactly sure of the use in this, but if you don't have the beta it's nice.

They have the "mouse clicked" event and "Room Panel Mouse Over/Out", I guess that might count a little bit. =P

EDIT: Hooray, they have some mouse support!

native int EventMouseClickedButton ();
native int EventMouseClickedPosXUI ();
native int EventMouseClickedPosYUI ();
native fixed EventMouseClickedPosXWorld ();
native fixed EventMouseClickedPosYWorld ();
native fixed EventMouseClickedPosZWorld ();

No, I mean they do not allow the mouse position to be tracked, so you cant control guys or fly a plane with it or something or even 1st person shooter.

I'm almost positive you can. Just not sure how yet.

Why don't they have a function list in galaxy :/

So much support for GUI, almost nonexistent for galaxy. They just threw it out and gave it some lame text editor with a complier

There you go. However, selecting/ordering units is impossible while doing this.

Let me restate this, you can select units, only through control groups via 1-9, or if it's a hero, F2, etc.

The compiler is much better now? You can actually check your script before you run the game this time. Very nice and saves a lot of time.:nuts:

Why would they bother to do anything for the text editor when they know that the modding community will make programs for it?

There is syntax hightlighting (it also highlight natives!) and much nicer error reporting. You also get the Script Editor which you can open external files and validate them, or just play around. This is quite a inprovement from WE, but the editor is really slow, using undo resets the cursor position and it doesn't indent newlines. So it's quite useless, but an improvement from the Notepad inferior text box in WE.

Vestras: If they wanted the community to do stuff, they would have made an API for it.

Help Users
  • No one is chatting at the moment.
  • Varine Varine:
    How can you tell the difference between real traffic and indexing or AI generation bots?
  • The Helper The Helper:
    The bots will show up as users online in the forum software but they do not show up in my stats tracking. I am sure there are bots in the stats but the way alot of the bots treat the site do not show up on the stats
  • Varine Varine:
    I want to build a filtration system for my 3d printer, and that shit is so much more complicated than I thought it would be
  • Varine Varine:
    Apparently ABS emits styrene particulates which can be like .2 micrometers, which idk if the VOC detectors I have can even catch that
  • Varine Varine:
    Anyway I need to get some of those sensors and two air pressure sensors installed before an after the filters, which I need to figure out how to calculate the necessary pressure for and I have yet to find anything that tells me how to actually do that, just the cfm ratings
  • Varine Varine:
    And then I have to set up an arduino board to read those sensors, which I also don't know very much about but I have a whole bunch of crash course things for that
  • Varine Varine:
    These sensors are also a lot more than I thought they would be. Like 5 to 10 each, idk why but I assumed they would be like 2 dollars
  • Varine Varine:
    Another issue I'm learning is that a lot of the air quality sensors don't work at very high ambient temperatures. I'm planning on heating this enclosure to like 60C or so, and that's the upper limit of their functionality
  • Varine Varine:
    Although I don't know if I need to actually actively heat it or just let the plate and hotend bring the ambient temp to whatever it will, but even then I need to figure out an exfiltration for hot air. I think I kind of know what to do but it's still fucking confusing
  • The Helper The Helper:
    Maybe you could find some of that information from AC tech - like how they detect freon and such
  • Varine Varine:
    That's mostly what I've been looking at
  • Varine Varine:
    I don't think I'm dealing with quite the same pressures though, at the very least its a significantly smaller system. For the time being I'm just going to put together a quick scrubby box though and hope it works good enough to not make my house toxic
  • Varine Varine:
    I mean I don't use this enough to pose any significant danger I don't think, but I would still rather not be throwing styrene all over the air

    I'm looking at a solid 378 guests, but 3 members. Of which two are me and VSNES. The third is unlisted, which makes me think its a ghost.

    I bitch about Xenforo sometimes but it really is full featured you just have to really know what you are doing to get the most out of it.
  • The Helper The Helper:
    It is just not easy to fix styles and customize but it definitely can be done
  • The Helper The Helper:
    I do know this - xenforo dropped the ball by not keeping the vbulletin reputation comments as a feature. The loss of the Reputation comments data when we switched to Xenforo really was the death knell for the site when it came to all the users that left. I know I missed it so much and I got way less interested in the site when that feature was gone and I run the site.
