completely new ability

how if i can at all do i make an ability that is like none of the others for example the one iwant to make is "griffiti" or "tag up" u take a few seconds then after that you see a mark on the wall. how can i do this? hope i dun need JASS

modify the 'casting time' field to however long u want the unit to take to cast the ability
not sure about making a mark on a wall, sorry

yea well i meant the whole spell including type of attack attack time is easy and how to make the mark would probably be a trigger but i need HELP :'(

For just a simple "Mark", base it off Serpent Ward, set Duration to 0 (summons with duration 0 are permanent), give the summoned unit the Graffiti model, or whatever model you've chosen. I'm not positive about how to cast it only on walls, but it might have something to do with the Targets Allowed catagory, because one of the targets is Wall. Or, then again, that might be something completely different!

If you don't want it targeted, but just want a model to pop up on the wall, then maybe use, say, Summon Water Elemental, set the AoE to your range, set the Allowed Targets to whatever you want, set duration to 0, and of course change the summoned unit. Once again, I have no clue as to whether or not Wall is what I think it might be. Good luck with this, sounds like a nice little ability!

You'd either have to create a unit that has one of the rune models, make a new model that's the same as the wall but has graffiti on it, or make a new rune model and put it on there.
