Jade Empire = Best RPG ever that should've been made into an MMORPG.
Want me to explain? Eh, I'll explain.
It's basically a cooler somewhat harder version of Fable and KotOR.
Set in olde China, you use lots of "karateish" attack styles. These range from twin axes to rifles (a sort of hidden feature ). Know what rocks? Blocking, and most of all, dodging and running around! Sure a rifle may hit insanely hard but a good player can leap side to side and eventually roll right into the rifle-person, following up with a sweet combo.
Now Jade Empire is, sadly, single player, but if they worked it online they could make various styles have a sort of effect over each other. Legendary Strike, a fists and kicks style, has a lot of power over ranged and ghost units (ghost units can't be hurt with any weapons fashioned out of metal), because it strikes fast and it strikes with your guy's Chi without depleting it. It also doesn't drain your focus (an ability that allows your guy to perform insane combos and dodging). Various sword styles, however, would be for more melee combatants or, more importantly, groups of units (and apparently that's also what those staves with the blade on the end are for too...they hit enemies in front AND in back of you).
