Conferences in visitor messages

Visitor messages are all fine and stuff, but it is hard to communicate once you're more than two : /

Any way to fix this?
Opening a thread seems hugely inappropriate, and PMing isn't worth the hassle...

I am unclear how visitor messages are hard once it's more than two?

Anyway, we have a chat and people are always more than welcome to exchange IM information to create their own chat rooms in AIM, MSN, etc. etc.

There is no need to add an entirely new feature for this.
