connectivity issues

i have, since 10/26, not been able to connect to any realm from my comp but my dads comp ( the main one) is... but mine is plugged into his via network and i cant connect to any "blizzard" games we have tried many things and blizzard told us to do some gay tracert crap i sent it to my isp and to bliz all my isp said was NOTHING and bliz just repeated the same shit they said on the bliz forums about the many isp's and crap well .. i really dont want to lose my account in 3 months due to my incapability to connect... and i may sell it on ebay.. if need be and MAKE USE of the F*cking game .... i have been with bliz since there very first game... which i believe was warcraft II ( which i have, along with d1,sc,sc:bw,d2,d2:expac) so i kinda think there should be some answers to this....

any INFO would be nice

As for your network problem ofTheHorde, if your connectivity for other sites and gaming networks appears to be fine, then you can blame it entirely on Blizzard.

Unfortunately, since the Battle.Net service is provided <i>gratis</i> you're out of luck. They don't have to provide it, so if you can't access it, well.. that's not their problem.

How are you sharing that internet connection? Is there a hardware router or is there some kind of Proxy Software? Have you ever been able to access Battle.net before from your computer?

If you and your dad are on the same network and he can access Battle.net and you cannot - its more than likely a network problem, and not a battle.net server connection problem. Make sure that TCP/IP is configured correctly on your computer. You should be able to ping each computer on the network and the Battle.net server from that station if its set up right.

Hmm.. I didn't see that his father's computer could connect to Battle.Net. In that case, follow TH's advice

well more info.... first... my dad can still log in to all bliz game but for some reason HE MUST COMPLETLEY TURN OFF my net to actually join , create games....... and i cant at all log in ... were on the same network .. and yes we CAN ping each other and my dad on numerous occasions pings b.net but i still cant connect this is kinda crappy because D2:expac is the only thing i can play after practice and school etc.etc now i got 2 hours of something i gotta fill in issed: yea.. so ok



edit : how do i make a forum? i got about 40-50 kids from school that would like the idea.. and it sounds fun..
