Copy and paste question

You know what realy frustrates me? Only being able to copy ONE object or trigger into another map at a time. So i ask is there a way to copy more than one object or trigger from a map to another at once?
I've tryed click dragging, pressing shift and ctrl but nothing seems to work.
It takes SO long to copy a bunch of heros 1 by 1 onto onother map, thats same with triggers.
Plz help poor lil Drunk3n F0ol.
 
I think you can copy folders cant you... Sorry dont have editor open... If you can though you could put all the trigger you want in it and copy and paste it...
 
There is a way to completely export and import all of the obj data you want...but that would replace whatever you have.
 
im pretty sure there is a way for more than one... have you tryed ctrl-C?
 
Okay, so the copy and paste the hole trigger folder works (I cant belive i didnt think of that before) but im still stuck on copying lots of objects at once.
Any one who can help please speak up.
 
I dont think that there is any real way to do that... Unless you just copy the units and change the model...but that only for specific feild values... not units...



Huh i really kinda know what im talkin about...lol
 
** Sorry for bringing this old topic up!! **

First of all, I would like to point out that I'm not copying units and triggers out of a map to steal it. I need it because I got 2-P to do terrain while I worked on units. I wouldn't suggest doing what I did, but 2-P needed a lot of time to work his/her magic.

Thanks zll7 for the trigger help. But I made a tonne of minor changes here and there on each of my units, and there are a lot of new stuff. Can you please tell me how to copy all of my objects at once, or atleast a lot of them??

All at once is rather simple, provided the target map doesn't have any:
menu: File / Export all.
And import it on the other map.

That's really "all" though, since "import" will overwrite whatever is already there...

    this is the fix I get from that yeah this is hard to control. disabling bots is pretty much necessary as ai and other bots would push really old threads to the top. reduce weight of view count. disable guest view tracking if you really want to push active threads to the top. a bit of tinkering for a few days with the weights and other settings should get you a decent trending widget box.

    Wow - the change in the stats are major. I kind of knew it was all bots but wow, to see the effect. Why the social media sites cant do something like this I have no idea.

    Yeah google does not filter those bots. I remember when Apex was doing Google ads I saw the same IPs in there as I was seeing here - google is totally tracking all those bots as traffic and most google traffic, at least ours, was all bots
